The housing is white ABS polished finish 143mm x 82 x 44 with lid held by 4 x 35mm countersunk screws and shows the Grill Guard logo. The unit is environmentally protected to rating IP54 this is dust proof and splash proof. A further seal of silicon is applied to joints where the unit is fitted in an exposed situation. Fixing to grill is by 2 galvanized ‘U’ bolts with M5 nuts within the enclosure.
Internally is fitted the vibration sensor PC analyser and radio transmitter and 12v battery Anti -tamper protection to the lid is operational 24hrs and the transmitter can signal Alarm ,anti-tamper and low battery together with zonal information. Sensitivity adjustment is available to cover a wide range of operating conditions. Two diagnostic leds are contained internally 1 for signal transmission verification and 1 for engineer test Battery life is around 18 months. A battery test is available at the control panel is recommended at 6monthly intervals otherwise the sensor is maintenance free.
Compatible with a range of control panels and external sounders and will operate alongside PIR detectors and door and window magnetic switches.
